News Just In: Kaliba Senghore Is Permanent Secretary Tourism

According to our most competent sources at the President's office, Kaliba Senghore who was "removed" (notice the newest euphemism in Jammeh's political lexicon) as Director of The Gambia Tourism Authority while holidaying in the UK, only three days ago, has been appointed Permanent Secretary Department of State for Tourism. Says a highly placed official at State House, "more tinkering with the reshuffled Ministerial apportionment is expected between now and the resumption of duties after the Easter holidays.
